Privacy Policy

Last updated: 24 June 2026

DocuPath ("we") helps students navigate studying in Italy. This policy explains, in plain language, what data we collect, why, and your rights. Questions: docupath1@gmail.com.

1. Who we are

DocuPath, operating the website docupath1.com. Contact: docupath1@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

Account: name, email, phone, and a securely hashed password (we never see your password in plain text). Bookings: chosen date/time, WhatsApp number, preferred language, and the message you send us. Purchases: package bought, amount, and your DocuPath student ID. Analytics: anonymised usage data, only after you consent.

3. Who processes your data, and why

We share data only with the service providers needed to run DocuPath: Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing — we never store your card details), Cloudflare R2 (secure PDF storage) and Cloudflare (DNS and content delivery), Resend (sending email), Vercel (website hosting), and Google Analytics 4 (usage statistics, loaded only after consent and with IP anonymisation). We do not sell your data and do not share it with anyone outside these named processors.

4. Cookies

Essential cookies (for login and security) are always active. Analytics cookies load only after you accept them in the cookie banner; you can decline.

5. PDF watermarking

Each PDF guide is personalised with the buyer's email, phone, and student ID, tiled across the document. This deters unauthorised sharing and ties any leaked copy back to the account that downloaded it.

6. Retention and your rights

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. Under the GDPR you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data — email docupath1@gmail.com and we will respond.

7. International users

DocuPath serves a global audience. Where data is processed outside your country, our providers apply appropriate safeguards.

This document is provided for information and is not legal advice. We may update it; the latest version always governs.
